Scheduling and best times to post
Schedule posts in your workspace time zone, understand post statuses and use proven tips for choosing posting times.
Schedule a post
- In the composer, click Schedule.
- Pick the date and time. Times are in your workspace time zone (set in Settings → General).
- Click Schedule post.
You can also click a day or a time slot in the Calendar to open the composer with that time already filled in.
Post statuses
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Draft | Saved without a time. |
| Scheduled | Waiting for its time. |
| Publishing | Being sent right now. |
| Published | Live on every chosen account, with a link to each post. |
| Partly published | Live on some accounts; others failed. Open it to see why. |
| Failed | Couldn't be published. The reason is shown, and you get one email. See Failed posts. |
Change or cancel a scheduled post
Click the post in the Calendar to edit it, change its time, or delete it. A post that is already publishing can't be changed.
Best practices for posting times
- Know your audience's time zone. If most followers are in another country, set the workspace time zone to theirs.
- Weekday mornings and lunchtime often work well for LinkedIn and business audiences.
- Evenings and weekends often work better for community channels like Telegram and Discord.
- Be consistent. A steady rhythm (for example, every Tuesday and Thursday at 9:00) trains people to expect you.
- Check your own results. Open Analytics after a few weeks and keep the times that perform best.
- Don't post everything at once. Spread posts across the day and the week.
