How to connect Pinterest to SolMarrow step by step, what you can publish, the limits, and tips for better Pinterest posts.

How to connect
- Open Accounts in the SolMarrow sidebar.
- Choose Pinterest.
- Connect with Pinterest's own sign-in, then choose the board new Pins should go to by default. You can pick a different board for any single Pin in the composer.
- Back in SolMarrow, the account shows as connected. You can now pick it under Post to in the composer.
Tip: Connect in the same browser where you are already signed in to the network, so you only need to confirm.
What you can publish
- Image Pins: One image per Pin, with an optional title, a description and a destination link.
- Video Pins: One video per Pin, up to 2 GB, with the same title, description and link fields.
Limits
- Text: up to 800 characters.
- Media: up to 1 image or up to 1 video; an image or video is required.
Tips
- Design for a vertical feed: Pinterest shows Pins in tall columns. Vertical images, such as a 2:3 ratio, take up more space in the feed than square or wide ones.
- Write for search: People use Pinterest like a search engine. Use the plain words someone would type to find your idea in the title and description.
- Link to the exact page: Send people to the recipe, product or article shown in the Pin, not your home page. It's what they expected when they tapped.
- Pin regularly, not all at once: A steady stream of fresh Pins over weeks is easier to keep up than big batches, and gives each Pin its own moment in the feed.
Questions
Is it free to schedule Pins?
Yes. Pinterest is open to everyone on SolMarrow's free plan, with unlimited accounts and posts. Pro is $10 a month if you need several workspaces or a team.
Can I choose a different board for each Pin?
Yes. You pick a default board when you connect, and you can change the board for any single Pin in the composer.
Can I add a link to my Pins?
Yes. Every Pin can have a destination link, so people who tap your Pin land on your site, shop or article.
Can one Pin have several images?
No. SolMarrow publishes one Pin per post, with one image or one video. To share several images, schedule them as separate Pins.
