How to connect Discord to SolMarrow step by step, what you can publish, the limits, and tips for better Discord posts.

How to connect
- Open Accounts in the SolMarrow sidebar.
- Choose Discord.
- Sign in with Discord, choose the server and channel on Discord's own screen, and you're done. Discord creates a webhook for that channel, so there's no bot to install and no bot permissions to manage.
- Back in SolMarrow, the account shows as connected. You can now pick it under Post to in the composer.
Tip: Connect in the same browser where you are already signed in to the network, so you only need to confirm.
What you can publish
- Text messages: Messages of up to 2,000 characters for announcements, patch notes, event details and weekly updates.
- Image and video messages: Up to 10 images and videos in one message, in any mix. Each video can be up to 20 MB.
Limits
- Text: up to 2,000 characters.
- Media: up to 10 images or up to 10 videos.
Tips
- Post in the right channel: Keep announcements in an announcements channel and casual updates elsewhere. People mute servers that put everything in one place.
- Make messages easy to scan: Short lines, a clear first sentence and the key detail (date, time, link) near the top work better than a long paragraph.
- Remind before events: Schedule one message a day or two before an event and another shortly before it starts, so members who missed the first still show up.
- Compress your clips: Videos over 20 MB won't post. Trim or compress gameplay clips and trailers before you add them, or share a link instead.
Questions
Can I schedule Discord messages without a bot?
Yes. SolMarrow connects through Discord's official sign-in and posts with a channel webhook, so you never invite or host a bot.
Is the Discord scheduler free?
Yes. The free plan includes unlimited accounts and unlimited scheduled messages in one workspace. Pro is $10 a month for more workspaces and team invites.
Can I post to more than one channel?
Yes. Each connection is one channel, so connect every channel you want to post to and choose them in the composer.
What can I attach to a Discord message?
Up to 10 images and videos in any mix. Videos can be up to 20 MB each, and the message text can be up to 2,000 characters.
