Add images and videos
Upload images and videos, add them from Google Drive or Notion, and learn how storage works and when files are removed.
Add media to a post
You can add media in the composer in several ways:
- Drag and drop files onto the composer.
- Choose files from your computer.
- Add from Google Drive: pick files from your Drive. SolMarrow only gets the files you choose.
- Notion: add a Notion page; its text fills the post and its images are copied in. See Notion.
Supported types: JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, MP4, MOV and WebM. Large files upload in parts, so big videos work too.
How storage works
| Plan | Storage |
|---|---|
| Free | 1 GB |
| Pro | 10 GB |
- Your storage meter is in the account menu and in Settings → Billing.
- Files are removed automatically after they're posted, so the space comes back.
- Uploads you never use are removed after 30 days.
- Text, drafts and analytics don't count toward storage.
Note: Once a file is removed after posting, a copy of that post can't reuse it. Add the file again if you want to post it once more.
Best practices
- Videos: MP4 (H.264) is the safest choice for every network.
- Vertical video (9:16) suits TikTok, YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels; square or 4:5 images work well almost everywhere.
- Keep files under each network's size limit. See Network limits.
