How to connect

1. Open Accounts in the SolMarrow sidebar.
2. Choose Threads.
3. Connect with Threads' own login through the official Threads API. SolMarrow never sees your password and renews access automatically, so scheduled posts keep going out without you reconnecting. Connections are rolling out while Meta reviews SolMarrow's app.
4. Back in SolMarrow, the account shows as connected. You can now pick it under Post to in the composer.

What you can publish

• Text posts: Up to 500 characters of plain text. SolMarrow counts as you type, so you know the post fits before you schedule.
• Image and video posts: Add one image, or one video of up to 1 GB. The file is checked against Threads' limits in the composer.
• Carousels: Up to 10 images and videos in one swipeable post. Photos and clips can be mixed in the same carousel.

Limits

• Text: up to 500 characters.
• Media: up to 10 images or up to 10 videos.

Tips

• Sound like a person: Threads is built around conversation. Short, plain posts written the way you talk tend to start more replies than polished announcements.
• End with an open question: Ask something your followers can answer from their own experience. It gives people an easy reason to reply instead of just scrolling past.
• Don't copy your X posts word for word: Threads gives you 500 characters. Use the extra room for the example or detail you had to cut on X, so followers on both get something worth reading.
• Use carousels to show, not tell: Screenshots, product photos and step-by-step images work well as a carousel, with a short line of text that tells people why to swipe.

Questions

Can SolMarrow publish Threads posts automatically?

Yes. SolMarrow publishes text posts, image and video posts and carousels through the official Threads API at the time you schedule. Nothing waits on your phone.

How long can a Threads post be?

Up to 500 characters. The composer counts as you write and won't let you schedule a post that's over the limit.

Can I add photos and videos to Threads posts?

Yes. Add one image, one video of up to 1 GB, or a carousel of up to 10 images and videos, mixed however you like.

Can I schedule multi-post threads or replies?

No. SolMarrow publishes single Threads posts, including carousels. Chains of connected posts and scheduled replies aren't part of what it publishes today.
