How to connect Facebook to SolMarrow step by step, what you can publish, the limits, and tips for better Facebook posts.

How to connect
- Open Accounts in the SolMarrow sidebar.
- Choose Facebook.
- Connect with Facebook Login for Business and choose the Page you want to post as. SolMarrow never sees your password, and the Page connection keeps working until you remove the app or lose your role on the Page. Connections are rolling out while Meta reviews SolMarrow's app.
- Back in SolMarrow, the account shows as connected. You can now pick it under Post to in the composer.
What you can publish
- Text and link posts: Write as much as you need, up to 63,206 characters, or share a link to your blog post, shop or event page.
- Photo posts: One photo, or up to 10 photos in a single post. Good for event recaps, product sets and before-and-after shots.
- Video posts: One video of up to 1 GB per post. SolMarrow checks the file size before you schedule, so the upload doesn't fail later.
Limits
- Text: up to 63,206 characters.
- Media: up to 10 images or up to 1 video.
Tips
- Lead with the point: Facebook folds longer posts behind a "See more" link. Put the news, offer or question in the first sentence and the details after.
- Upload video directly: A video uploaded to your Page plays right in the feed. A link to a video somewhere else asks people to leave Facebook before they watch.
- Check your link previews: Facebook builds the preview card from the page's title and share image. Make sure the pages you link to have both set, or the card can look empty.
- Group photos into one post: Ten photos from one event work better as a single multi-photo post than as ten separate posts crowding your followers' feeds.
Questions
Can SolMarrow post to my Facebook Page automatically?
Yes. SolMarrow publishes text, link, photo and video posts to your Page through Meta's official API at the time you schedule. There is no reminder to finish on your phone; the post simply goes live.
Can I post to Facebook groups or my personal profile?
No. Meta only allows apps like SolMarrow to post to Facebook Pages. Personal profiles and groups can't be scheduled through any official integration.
Can I mix photos and a video in one Facebook post?
No. A Facebook post from SolMarrow has either photos (one, or up to 10) or one video of up to 1 GB. The composer tells you before you schedule if a post mixes both.
Do I need to reconnect my Page from time to time?
No. The Page connection keeps working until you remove SolMarrow's app in Facebook or lose your role on the Page.
