Network settings: titles, boards, privacy and more
Some networks need extra details for each post: a YouTube title and privacy, a Pinterest board, TikTok audience, Dribbble tags or a blog title.
When you pick certain networks, the composer shows a Network settings section. Here is what each one asks for.
YouTube
- Title: leave it empty to use the first line of the post.
- Who can view this video: public, unlisted or private.
- Made for kids: YouTube requires this answer for every upload (COPPA).
- YouTube needs exactly one video.
TikTok
- Who can view this video: choose an audience.
- Disclose video content: turn on if the video promotes yourself ("Promotional content") or another brand ("Paid partnership"). Branded content can't be set to "Only me".
- AI-generated content: label the post as made with AI.
- Board: the board the Pin goes to. Your default board is set when you connect.
- Link (optional): where the Pin leads. Without one, the first link in the text is used.
- The post text becomes the Pin description.
Dribbble
- Title and up to 12 tags, separated by commas.
- One image, fitted to 1600×1200 if needed. The text becomes the shot description.
WordPress, Ghost and DEV
- Title: leave it empty to use the first line of the post as the title (it then isn't repeated in the body).
- WordPress and Ghost: the first image becomes the featured image; other media goes into the post.
- DEV: the text is Markdown. DEV can't take uploaded media, so link images in the text.
